About Sunnyvale, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Sunnyvale has a population of approximately 5,000 residents and is located in an upscale, very rural area approximately 15 miles east of downtown Dallas. Long Creek, New Hope, Hattersville, and Tripp comprised the four hamlets that merged together to form the city in 1953. Each of the former hamlets had a church, a school, and several stores at the time of the merging. “Sunnyvale” was selected by students attending Tripp-Long Creek School in a contest designed to create the new name for the new city.
The town is located alongside Lake Ray Hubbard, allowing for water recreation such as water skiing, sail boating, swimming, and fishing to play a great role in the lives of Sunnyvale residents, and though most recreational shopping is done in nearby towns such as Garland or Mesquite, there are restaurants such as Cat Fish Cove and Bulls' Pen Cafe that offer hometown cooking at its finest. Recreation and learning opportunities can also be found at the Sunnyville Public Library or the Town Hall Greenery. Located in a humid subtropical region, Sunnyville holds moderate temperatures year round, averaging in the mid 60’s.
